IL-11: Catalina Lauf (R)

Catalina Lauf is a businesswoman and the daughter of a Guatemalan immigrant.
Her mother immigrated from Guatemala and met Lauf’s Illinois-born father who is a small business owner, who helped inspire her career.
Lauf got her start in politics when she was appointed as a special advisor at the Department of Commerce under Secretary Wilbur Ross in 2018 as part of the Trump Administration.
She still lives in Woodstock, the same town in which she grew up.
