Some states are currently considering laws that will change access to abortion.

Abortion will still be legal in Arizona after Sept. 24, 2022, but there may be new restrictions on it because of a new Arizona law that may go into effect on that day. If the law goes into effect, it will mean that abortion is banned after 15 weeks, of pregnancy in Arizona.

One or more laws that restrict or ban abortion access in Georgia may go into effect because of the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling.

Idaho is scheduled to begin enforcing a total ban on abortion 30 days after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade on June 24.

A new Louisiana law that completely banned abortion in Louisiana went into effect July 8, 2022 but that law is being challenged in the courts, and it is currently not in effect.

Because of a new North Dakota law, abortion may be banned completely in North Dakota starting July 28, 2022.

A new Utah law that completely banned abortion went into effect June 24, 2022 but that law is being challenged in the courts, and it is currently not in effect.
