Jeremy Shaffer is a leader in business. He stands for efficient government that provides opportunities for all.
He married his high school classmate and prom date Stacey. They have five children and have raised them in Western Pennsylvania.
He earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon while Stacey completed her Medical Residency and Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.
While at Carnegie Mellon, he co-founded a company committed to improving crumbling roads and bridges. As a small business owner, he understands the importance and challenges of dealing with government regulations and taxes while growing revenue and managing personnel.
As a Ross Township commissioner and board president, he fought for taxpayers and led the fight for reforms. He also served as a Northland Library Foundation board member, Northern Tier Library board member, founder of Walk/Bike Ross, and coach on numerous youth sports teams.
In his free time, he enjoys the wonderful Western Pennsylvania outdoors with biking, running, and hiking.
