NH-01: Karoline Leavitt (R)

Karoline Leavitt is from a small business family in Rockingham County, and grew up working every summer at the family ice cream stand in Atkinson.
As a student at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, Leavitt played on the women’s softball team, founded the Saint Anselm Broadcasting Club, volunteered at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics, and worked at WMUR-TV, traveling across the state to produce shows about New Hampshire’s rich history.
In 2018, she applied to work for President Donald J. Trump. At the White House, she worked as a writer and later served as an assistant press secretary in the Press Office. She helped prepare press secretary Kayleigh McEnany for briefings and helped message Trump’s America First agenda.
Following the 2020 election, she worked on Capitol Hill as the communications director for House Republican Conference Chair, Rep. Elise Stefanik.
