CT-05: George Logan (R)

George Logan is a family man, engineer, community leader, and a small business owner. His grandparents left Jamaica for Guatemala during the Great Depression. Logan has spent his life finding ways to solve problems big and small, and he’s not afraid to roll up his sleeves and do the same in Congress.
During his two terms in the State Senate, Logan fought tax hikes. He tackled the tough issues facing the wellbeing of his community and brought people together to fight the opioid epidemic to find solutions that work.
Logan graduated from Trinity College with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and he went on to graduate with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Bridgeport. He started his career nearly 30 years ago at Aquarion Water Company. He worked his way up starting in engineering, moving on to environmental management and now community relations.
Logan is the proud husband of Lisa, who is a nurse with the State Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services; their son Hunter, is a recent graduate of Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts; and daughter Tracey, is a junior and recently made the Dean’s List at Iona College in New Rochelle, New York.
