Stand With Parkland President To Discuss School Safety Ahead of Midterms

Tony Montalto, President of Stand with Parkland, a school safety advocacy organization comprised of all 17 families of the victims of the Parkland shooting, discussed school safety this week ahead of the upcoming midterm elections. Tony is the father of Gina Montalto, one of the students who was killed in the shooting.

“Our group has come together, even through diversity, to advocate for safer schools…Our mission is to bring people together to start a conversation from everyone who is looking at the subject and find compromise and consensus and then bring those compromise positions to our political leaders to make either policy or to enact laws to keep the students and the teachers safe.” Watch the full interview.
