Gingerbread Capitol Enlivens Cannon Office Building Basement

WASHINGTON — Another sure sign of the season is on display on Capitol Hill, with the arrival of the Gingerbread U.S. Capitol in the basement of the House Cannon Office Building.

The cookie edifice is located beneath the building’s famous rotunda, at the nexus of the underground tunnels connecting the Cannon building with the Capitol and the Longworth and Rayburn office buildings.
