About the District

About Chris:

Chris Hunter served in the FBI following the terrorist attacks on 9/11. At the time of the terrorist attacks, he was serving as a state prosecutor. Following the attacks, Chris applied to the FBI and went on to serve as an agent, focusing on counterintelligence, counterterrorism, and international fugitive investigations.

Chris served most recently as a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice on our nation’s health care fraud strike force. Serving side by side with dedicated federal law enforcement agents, he shut down scammers and con artists who stole from Medicare, TRICARE, and other health insurance plans—programs our veterans, our older friends and neighbors, and all of us depend on for health care coverage.

He currently has the privilege of serving in one of the most important jobs in the world: teaching. Chris teaches at Stetson University College of Law and at the University of Tampa and is thankful to have had the opportunity throughout his career to contribute to successful businesses as a leader and counselor.
