THE WELL NEWS LAUNCHES ELECTORATE EMPOWERED
ELECTION INFO IN YOUR PERSONAL DEVICE CALENDAR
WASHINGTON – On Thursday, February 20th, The Well News team will launch a new tool that was designed to keep politicos in the loop on key dates, current polling, and candidate information for races across the country. Electorate Empowered includes three calendars dedicated to tracking federal and state candidates, as well as filing deadlines, and information about the 2020 presidential election as the Democratic Party works to identify a candidate for the November ballot. Detailed information is included in the body of each calendar entry.
The user-friendly calendars can be quickly imported into personal computers and phones with the simple click of a button. You can access them here:
- Federal: This calendar tracks presidential caucuses, primaries and related polling information as well as congressional races.
- State: This calendar tracks statewide races and legislative sessions.
- Filing: This calendar tracks FEC filing deadlines as well as candidate registration deadlines for federal and state elections.
“Our goal with Electorate Empowered is to generate greater awareness of the political activity that often goes overlooked or isn’t so easy to track during campaign cycles,” said Christina Paulos, Managing Director of The Well News. “We consider this free tool an opportunity to connect individuals across the country with the races happening closest to them and an easy way to increase their general knowledge of key races as we move toward the November elections.”
The Well News is a digital-first national media outlet dedicated to providing unique reporting, elevating policy, and insights from leaders who are driving thoughtful discussion and real change throughout the country. At a time when so much of media coverage is focused on the views of those on the far right and far left, TWN strives to cover the business, policy, and thought leaders across the country who are actually getting things done. Their goal is to cut through the noise and provide accurate, interesting, and exclusive coverage of the issues that impact our lives every day and the people who are taking real steps to make change for the better.
“Our organization prides itself on breaking through the hostile rhetoric that dominates the media by focusing on issues that are overlooked but nonetheless important throughout the nation,” said Paulos. “We see how partisanship continues to divide the country and push citizens away from the process. This project is our way of reconnecting individuals with the elections taking place in their backyards all the way to our nation’s capital.
