ROKK Solutions Honored for Digital Campaign Work

NEW YORK — The bipartisan, D.C.-based consultancy ROKK Solutions was honored last week at the SABRE North American Awards, taking home a SABRE prize for its work with the Digital Divide Coalition.

The award was in the category of Best Campaign – Telecommunications.

The campaign itself dates back to the weeks last year when the Biden administration’s infrastructure package was still in its formative stages. During this period, the Digital Divide Coalition urged lawmakers in over 20 states to expand broadband to unserved and underserved areas, ensure permanent funding to connect low-income households and be fair to and inclusive of all communities.

To further the effort, ROKK Solutions developed a highly-targeted communications strategy using digital advertising, earned social media and thought leadership, all with campaign imagery and messaging tailored for each of the 56 targeted members and their constituency.

The six-month campaign garnered over 179 million impressions, and over 155,000 website visits, which ultimately drove over 6,500 emails to lawmakers.

When the landmark infrastructure bill was signed into law, ROKK Solutions’ work with the Digital Divide Coalition ensured funding was included in the final package for a permanent broadband benefit and digital equity and inclusion.
