The Democratic Congressional Campaign Commitee revealed Friday that it raised $7 million in January due to robust grassroots support, the hard work of House Democrats and the leadership of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The DCCC’s January fundraising was anchored by $5.4 million from grassroots donors who contributed over the phone, in the mail and online, with an average online donation of $17.

“Our grassroots supporters understand what is at stake this election cycle, and they know House Democrats will be the difference in the critical work to deliver economic relief, get Americans back to work, and safely reopen our schools,” said DCCC Chairman Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, of New York.

“The American people can see the contrast before them: While House Democrats are working with President Biden and Vice President Harris to deliver for the American people, Washington Republicans continue to cave to the violent QAnon mob that has overrun their party,” Maloney said.

The DCCC also announced it entered February with $22 million cash-on-hand, saying it is well-positioned to protect House Democrats’ Majority.
