New Faces at the FCC
WASHINGTON — In the coming weeks Narda Jones will take over as chief of staff for Federal Communications Commission Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel.
Jones comes to the FCC from the White House where she was the director of Legislative Affairs for the Office of Science and Technology Policy. She previously worked in the Senate as a senior technology policy advisor for the Democrats.
Prior to her party legislative work, Jones worked for the FCC, working her way up to be the chief of the Global Strategies and Negotiation Division before working in the Senate in 2014.
“At a time when Congress has tasked the FCC with so many responsibilities, I am excited to welcome back Narda Jones to ensure we can meet our mission to connect everyone, everywhere. Her unique combination of skill, expertise and record of service will be a major asset for my team and the agency as a whole,” Rosenworcel wrote in a statement announcing the staff changes.
Also joining the FCC, Priscilla Delgado Argeris came on board as a chief legal advisor, according to the statement. Argeris is coming to the commission after working for Facebook’s parent organization Meta Platforms where she focused on spectrum policy issues for the company across the globe. Argeris previously worked for the FCC and with Rosenworcel as a senior legal advisor until 2015, before leaving for Facebook.
