Movies Back on the Menu in NYC
NEW YORK – New York City movie theaters will be allowed to reopen, at limited capacity, starting on March 5, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Monday.
The governor broke the news during his daily press briefing with reporters.
He said theaters in the city will be permitted to operate at 25% capacity, with no more than 50 people gathered in front of each screen.
In addition, he said, movie patrons will be required to continue to abide by such pandemic safety measures as wearing masks, social distancing,and freuqently washing their and using hand sanitizer.
