CA-48: Michelle Steel (R)
PROFILE
About Steel:
As a young adult, Steel came to America with her mother and two younger sisters from South Korea. Like so many before her and many more after her, Steel’s family came to America searching for opportunities with the hope for a better future.
Steel successfully ran for the California State Board of Equalization and she quickly worked to make much needed common-sense reforms.
Currently, Steel serves as the chairwoman of the Orange County Board of Supervisors. During her time in public office, Steel returned over $400 million to California taxpayers.
Steel will fight to lower taxes and allow Americans to keep more of their hard-earned money, especially during these uncertain times.
