About Williams:
Kathleen Williams has spent nearly four-decades in natural resources and public service.
Williams is the daughter of a World War II veteran, Harrison, and a woman who left Oklahoma to move west and work in the Navy shipyards, Marie. She is the youngest of four daughters, all of whom were conscripted into piano lessons and working for Harrison’s general contracting firm.
Williams met and married Tom, a Vietnam-era veteran and a civilian advisor in Iraq. Tom and she were married for nearly 15 years until Tom passed away in 2016.
Williams graduated with a B.S. in Resource Economics from U.C. Berkeley, and from Colorado State University with an M.S. in Recreation Resources. As the associate director at the Western Landowners Alliance, she served as a resource on water and policy issues.
She hunts and fishes, hikes and canoes.
