IN-05: Christina Hale (D)
PROFILE
About Hale:
Hale earned her degree at Purdue while raising her son. She was a non-profit leader at Kiwanis International.
Hale ran for the State House and spent months knocking on doors and listening to the concerns of her neighbors, and she won, becoming one of the few Latinas ever elected to the Indiana General Assembly.
Hale wants to address the rising costs of health care, ensuring children are prepared for a changing job market, and the quality of drinking water in Indiana communities.
While serving in the Indiana General Assembly, she earned a reputation as someone who could get things done. She was instrumental in getting more than 60 bills passed, every one with bipartisan support.
