About Purdue:

David Perdue is the senior United State Senator from Georgia with more than 40 years of business experience leading some of America’s most recognizable companies. 

During his 40+ years as a successful businessman, Perdue has worked for Sara Lee, Haggar, and Reebok. As a Fortune 500 CEO, he oversaw Dollar General’s expansion from 5,900 to 8,500 stores nationwide. While at Dollar General, he served as chairman of the National Commission on Literacy and Workforce Development. 

In the Senate, Perdue serves on the Senate Armed Services Committee, Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, and Senate Committee on the Budget. 

David and his wife, Bonnie, have two sons and three grandsons.
