Monica Tranel began her career as an attorney. A highlight in Trenel’s career is when she won a $10 million lawsuit against NorthWestern Energy.
Tranel was raised on her family’s ranch in eastern Montana, completing chores with her nine siblings. She was an Olympic rower and represented the United States, winning a World Championship Gold, and competed in two Olympic games.
