About Wagner:
Ann Wagner has over 25 years of experience in the private sector, local grassroots organizations and public service.
She grew up in south St. Louis County. She went to elementary school there, high school at Cor Jesu Academy and studied Business Administration at Mizzou. She worked in her parents’ small retail carpet store.
Wagner served for nine years as a local committeewoman in Lafayette Township in west St. Louis County and went on to chair the Missouri Republican Party. She served as co-chairman of the Republican National Committee during President George W. Bush’s first term in the White House.
In 2005, following nomination by President Bush and confirmation by the U.S. Senate, Ann was sworn in as the 19th U.S. Ambassador to Luxembourg by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. She served as U.S. Ambassador for four years before returning to her home in Ballwin.
Wagner has received endorsements from Missouri Right to Life, the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List, the Missouri Farm Bureau, the National Rifle Association, the National Federation of Independent Businesses, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Family Research Council and many more.
