House Majority PAC Releases Two New Ads in Key VA House Races

On Tuesday House Majority PAC, the Democratic super PAC focused on helping Democrats win seats in the House, announced the release of two new ads in key House races in Virginia. The ads are currently running in Virginia’s 2nd and 7th Congressional Districts.
“Thinking” began running on broadcast and cable on Tuesday in the Richmond media market and cable in the D.C. media market with a buy of approximately $308,000 behind it. This brings HMP’s total buy in VA-07 to approximately $707,000 where former CIA Operations Officer Abigail Spanberger is running to unseat Republican Representative Dave Brat.
“Making it Worse” is the second ad running as part of an approximately $418,000 total buy on broadcast in the Norfolk media market where Democrat Elaine Luria is running against Republican Representative Scott Taylor.
House Majority PAC announced the ads as Democrats are working to expand their reach in traditionally Republican Congressional Districts headed into November midterm elections.
